High Rise- Dispersion. 1992

Fucking sweet heavy psychedelic Japanese trio. In what looks like a huge attempt for an old psyche revival, High Rise got what they were looking for. With oozing bass lines, crunchy guitar chords, and a screeching lightning fire guitar the music actually sounds like it was recorded pre-70's. I really enjoyed the segments of the far reaching and drawn out amount of wah to the point of a self-image destroying air guitar reenactment. In a couple other places the singer, when he decides to sing, seems to be drowned out through much of the remainder of audial violence. Siiiiiiiiiick.

Listen!
